T-VEC is a genetically modified herpes simplex virus-1 that contains a gene for granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF). The product is injected directly into the tumor, while GM-CSF stimulates T-cell production so they better recognize proteins released by the tumor, effectively attacking and destroying them.

For melanoma treatment, it is injected directly into the skin lesion.

Discusses whether anyone can start training.
"Before going to the gym, an athlete should make sure their body is healthy and undergo a series of examinations. First, a complete blood count (CBC) is required. It contains information on key indicators of body function. With a CBC, for example, an ongoing inflammatory process in the body can be detected.
A blood biochemistry test (BCT) is also necessary. The BCT carries information about the function of organ systems and tissues, allowing the detection of chronic diseases. A hormone blood test will help identify endocrine disorders. For training to be truly effective, a healthy hormonal balance must be maintained. Before going to the gym, blood tests for thyroid hormones, sex hormones, adrenal and pituitary hormones should be taken.
It is also advisable to take a general urine test to assess urinary system function. An important examination before starting training is the electrocardiogram (ECG), which will help identify heart disease and rhythm disturbances. All these tests should be retaken at least once a year".
